Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for China

Zwitchy does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name give a fixed allowance of 1GB per day and, after that amount is used, the speed is reduced to 1000kbps. Therefore, these plans are not unlimited in the sense of offering high‑speed data without limits.

If a traveler needs a larger, fixed data allowance, Zwitchy offers plans such as 50GB for 30 days at $66.50 USD and 30GB for 30 days at $42.00 USD. These fixed data plans are available on 5G networks in China and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless extremely heavy data consumption is expected.

Zwitchy does not provide a China eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only plans are sold by the provider for China. Travelers who need voice or text communication may use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should check that these services are accessible in China beforehand, as certain destinations may block or restrict them.

Zwitchy offers 16 single‑country plans and 29 multi‑country plans that include coverage in China. The available plans range in price from approximately $1.00 to $139.50 and provide data limits from 100 MB up to 50 GB. The catalogue includes both fixed data amount plans and daily data cap plans; fixed plans provide a set amount of data for the entire validity period, whereas daily cap plans restrict the amount of data that can be used each day.
