Saily eSIM Data Plans for Colombia

Saily does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Colombia. All of its plans for Colombia have a hard cap on high‑speed data, and the plans that have “Unlimited” in the name actually offer 30GB of high‑speed data before the speed is throttled to 1000kbps for the 30‑day plan or to 1kbps for the 90‑day plan.

Travelers who need more data can choose from the fixed data plans in the catalogue. For example, the “Colombia 20GB 30 days” plan gives 20GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and the “Global 30GB 90 days” plan offers 30GB of high‑speed data valid for 90 days. These fixed plans may provide a more cost‑effective solution unless a user requires a very high data volume.

Saily does not provide a Colombia eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only eSIM options from Saily for Colombia are data‑only plans, so travelers cannot receive text messages or make standard phone calls with a local number. If they need to stay in contact, they can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, although availability of these services can vary, so it is advisable to confirm that the chosen apps work in Colombia before purchasing.

Saily provides 5 single‑country data plans and 15 multi‑country data plans for use in Colombia. The single‑country plans typically offer a fixed data amount that remains available for the validity period, while the multi‑country plans may include a daily data cap that resets each day. Across both categories, prices range from about $4.99 to $159.99, and the data caps vary between 1 GB and 30 GB depending on the chosen plan.
