Jetpac eSIM Data Plans for Costa Rica

Jetpac does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Costa Rica. All plans with “Unlimited” in the name actually offer a capped amount of high‑speed data—3 GB per day or 3 GB total for a 1‑day validity—after which the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps.
Alternative fixed‑data plans are available, such as 30 GB for 30 days or 50 GB for 365 days, allowing travelers to choose a larger, unthrottled data allowance that remains in effect for the plan’s validity period.

Jetpac does not provide any eSIM plan for Costa Rica that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers looking for a data‑only connection will find that the only available options are data plans without telephony features.

Because the plans lack a local phone number, calls and text messages can only be made through internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. Some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP apps, so travelers should confirm that these services are accessible in Costa Rica before purchasing a Jetpac eSIM.

Jetpac lists 14 single‑country data plans that cover Costa Rica alone. These single‑country plans span from 1 GB to 50 GB of data and are priced between $6 and $270. Additionally the catalogue includes 28 multi‑country data plans that feature Costa Rica among other destinations; they offer the same range of data volumes and price points as the single‑country options. Some plans provide a fixed data amount for the whole validity period, whereas others impose a daily data cap. Validity periods for the plans range from one day up to one year.
