CloudOn eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Ecuador

CloudOn eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Ecuador. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” give a daily high‑speed allowance of 3 GB/day or 2 GB/day; once that daily limit is reached the speed is throttled to 1 Mbps. This is not a hard unlimited data allowance.

Travelers who need a fixed amount of high‑speed data can choose from CloudOn eSIM’s fixed data plans, such as 50 GB for 30 days, 20 GB for 30 days, or 10 GB for 30 days. These plans offer a set data allowance for a set validity period and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

CloudOn eSIM does not offer any Ecuador eSIM that includes a local phone number or the ability to send SMS messages. Travelers who use a CloudOn eSIM for Ecuador will have access only to a data‑only plan.

Through the data connection, popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can generally be used for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to specific VoIP services; travelers should verify that the apps they rely on work in Ecuador before purchasing a CloudOn eSIM plan.

CloudOn provides 16 single‑country plans and 23 multi‑country plans that include coverage in Ecuador. The available data caps range from 1 GB to 50 GB, while prices span from $4.49 up to $127.49. Among these plans, 15 are structured as daily data‑cap options—allowing a set amount of data each day of validity—whereas 24 use a fixed data‑cap model, granting a total data allotment for the entire validity period.
