Esimtrav eSIM Data Plans for Germany

Esimtrav does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Germany. All of its German plans give a fixed high‑speed data allowance and then throttle the speed once that limit is reached. For instance, the plans named “Germany eSIM Recharge Unlimited – 30 days” actually provide 20 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, after which the connection speed is reduced.

Travelers can choose from the fixed‑data options that Esimtrav offers instead. A 20 GB plan and shorter 10 GB and 5 GB plans are all valid for 30 days. These plans can be more cost‑effective unless a traveler anticipates a very heavy data usage beyond the included allowance.

Esimtrav does not offer eSIM plans for Germany that include a mobile phone number or SMS capability. The only plans available for Germany from Esimtrav are data‑only eSIMs, meaning you can use the internet connection to access VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for voice and messaging. These apps use the data connection instead of a traditional cellular phone number or SMS.

Esimtrav currently offers four single-country data plans specifically for Germany. These plans provide data amounts ranging from 5GB to 20GB, with a fixed validity period of 30 days. The cost for these plans ranges from $12.75 to $75.25. Esimtrav does not currently list any multi-country plans that include Germany as part of their coverage.
