Sim Local eSIM Data Plans for Germany

No, Sim Local does not provide an truly unlimited data eSIM plan for Germany. All of the plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name have a set daily data allowance, ranging from 5 GB/day to 10 GB/day, and are valid for a fixed period of 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days.

Travelers who need more data can choose a fixed‑data eSIM such as the Germany Unlimited Data for 7 days (5 GB/day) or the Germany Unlimited Pro Data for 15 days (10 GB/day). If even larger amounts of high‑speed data are required, other providers supply sizable bundles, for example the Orange Holiday Europe 200 GB plan, which offers 200 GB of data for 31 days, along with unlimited calls and SMS within Germany.

Sim Local does not provide Germany eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for Germany. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may restrict or block certain services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible in Germany before purchasing.

Sim Local provides nine single‑country plans that cover Germany and, as a multi‑country provider, offers 25 plans that include Germany among other destinations. Their plans range in price from about $4.00 up to $202.50 and offer data limits between 1 GB and 200 GB. In addition to fixed‑volume packages, some of the 14 daily‑data‑cap plans allow travelers to purchase a set amount of data each day, while the remaining 20 fixed‑data‑cap options lock in a larger total amount for the duration of the validity period.
