MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Greece

MoodSIM does not provide a truly unlimited eSIM plan for Greece. All plans listed under the “Unlimited” umbrella have a daily data cap, after which speed is throttled to a lower level (512 kbps, 384 kbps, 500 kbps or 1 Mbps depending on the specific plan). The “hasUnlimitedName = true” designation only indicates that the headline includes the word “Unlimited”; it does not mean the data is unlimited.

Travelers who need more data can choose from MoodSIM’s fixed‑data eSIMs, such as the Greece 50 GB 30 days plan or the Greece 50 GB 180 days plan, which allow high‑speed data usage for the advertised period. These plans are often more cost‑effective for regular consumers and offer the same high‑speed coverage (5G) in Greece without the daily throttling that applies to the “Unlimited” plans.

MoodSIM does not provide an eSIM plan for Greece that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans that allow internet access, and can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage to make calls or send messages. However, because some destinations can block or restrict certain VoIP services, passengers should confirm that the apps they need are accessible in Greece before buying a data‑only eSIM.

MoodSIM provides 19 single‑country data plans for Greece. The plans range in price from about $0.49 up to $106.49 and offer data caps between 100 MB and 100 GB. Most of the options are fixed‑data packages that deliver a set amount of data for a set number of days, while a few daily‑cap plans limit the usage each day. MoodSIM also offers a large selection of multi‑country plans – 85 in total – but those are not specifically listed for Greece in the publicly available plan data.
