RoamGo eSIM Data Plans for Greece

RoamGo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Greece. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” give a daily high‑speed data allowance—1 GB or 2 GB per day—and after that limit is reached the data continues at a reduced speed of 384 kbps until the next midnight reset.

Travelers who need a larger high‑speed data allowance can choose from RoamGo’s fixed data plans, such as Greece 50 GB for 30 days, Greece 50 GB for 180 days, or the Europe 100 GB plan for 180 days. These plans offer a set amount of high‑speed data for a specified validity period and can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

RoamGo does not provide an eSIM plan for Greece that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Their offerings are limited to data‑only plans, so users will not receive an inbound or outbound voice number or the ability to send traditional SMS messages.

Travelers who need messaging or voice functions can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, accessibility of these apps can vary, and some destinations may restrict or block certain services, so it is advisable to confirm that the necessary apps will work in Greece before purchasing a RoamGo plan.

RoamGo’s catalogue includes both single‑country and multi‑country data packages that cover Greece. In the single‑country set there are 38 plans available for Greece, ranging in price from about $0.48 to $282 and offering data caps between 300 MB and 100 GB. The multi‑country tier contains 211 plans that include Greece, with the same overall price range and data‑cap spectrum. This gives travelers options ranging from a modest daily data cap to a multi‑month, high‑volume package.
