Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Greece

Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Greece. All plans that carry the “Unlimited Data” label give a fixed high‑speed allowance that resets each day and then throttle the speed. For example, the Greece • Unlimited Data • 1 Day plan offers 2GB of high‑speed data per day before the speed drops to 2000 kbps, and the Greece • Unlimited Data • 3 Days plan gives 3GB per day with a 1000 kbps throttle after the allowance is used. Travelers who need more data can choose fixed‑data plans such as the 100 GB for 30 days option, which provides a larger, non‑throttled data allowance.

Tourist eSIM does not provide a local phone number or SMS capability for eSIMs used in Greece. The only Greece plans available from Tourist eSIM are data‑only.

Without a local number travelers can still make voice calls and send messages using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to these services, so users should confirm that the apps they rely on are accessible in Greece before purchasing a plan.

Tourist eSIM offers 20 single‑country plans and 201 multi‑country plans for Greece. The plans vary widely in price, from about $1.86 to $426.78, and in data allowance, ranging from 1 GB to 750 GB. Most options are fixed‑data plans, while a minority set up daily data caps that reset each day, providing flexibility for short‑term or high‑usage travelers. Validity periods span from 1 day up to 365 days, allowing users to choose the duration that best fits their trip.
