Esimtrav does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Italy. The plans labeled “Unlimited” actually contain a fixed data allowance; for Italy the highest available package offers 20 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days at $75.25 USD. Other fixed‑data options include 10 GB for $25.51 USD and 5 GB for $12.75 USD. Choosing a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective unless a traveler requires an extremely heavy data load, in which case the limited‑data packages may be preferable.

Esimtrav does not provide Italy eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability.
Only data‑only options are available. Traveler callers and text users can still communicate via internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which operate over the data connection and enable voice calls and messaging without needing a phone number or SMS functionality.
