Jetpac eSIM Data Plans for Italy

Jetpac does not offer a plan that provides unlimited high‑speed data in Italy. All of its so‑called “Unlimited” plans limit the traveler to 3GB per day of 4G/5G data, after which the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps.

If you need more data, Jetpac offers fixed‑data plans such as the 50 GB plan for 30 days at $45.50 USD or the 30 GB plan for 21 days at $29.00 USD. These plans give a larger hard data allowance and no speed reduction, which can be more cost‑effective for high‑usage travelers.

Jetpac does not provide an eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability for Italy. Only data‑only plans are available, so travelers cannot receive calls or texts through the eSIM. They can still use internet‑based messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or limit specific VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm access to those apps in Italy before purchasing a plan.

Jetpac lists 17 single‑country plans that include Italy as the sole destination, and 42 multi‑country plans that cover Italy in addition to other countries. These 59 data‑only products are offered in fixed‑data quantities ranging from 1 GB to 50 GB and also in daily‑cap configurations. Prices vary from US $2 to US $249, and validity periods span from one day up to a full 365 days. Many of the plans provide tethering, a reduced speed option of 1000 kbit/s, and are limited to new customers.
