Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Luxembourg

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Luxembourg. The plans that carry the word “UNLIMITED” give 5GB per day at full speed; once that daily quota is reached the speed is reduced to 1000kbps. Therefore the data allowance is capped and the plan is not unlimited.

Travelers who need more data can choose from Kolet’s fixed data plans. For example, a 20GB plan for 30 days costs $28.99 USD, and a 10GB plan for 30 days costs $18.99 USD. These plans offer larger data allowances without the speed reduction that applies to the “UNLIMITED” plans.

Kolet does not provide a Luxembourg eSIM that comes with a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but availability can vary because some destinations may block or restrict these services. It is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible in Luxembourg before purchasing a Kolet plan.

Luxembourg has 13 single‑country plans and 31 multi‑country plans available from Kolet. The single‑country options typically feature a fixed data amount that ranges from 1 GB to 10 GB, with prices between roughly $4 and $60. The multi‑country plans cover Luxembourg in addition to other European destinations and offer data caps from 1 GB up to 20 GB, with prices spanning about $5 to $105. Fixed‑cap plans provide a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while daily‑cap plans limit the amount of data that can be used each day before a speed reduction to 1 Gbps applies.
