BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for Malta

BNESIM does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Malta. The plans labeled “Unlimited” actually offer a maximum of 3GB per day for 10 days; after that the speed is throttled to 1000kbps.

Travelers who need larger quantities of data can choose fixed data plans such as the 100 GB options that are valid for 30 days or that have no expiry. These provide larger data allowances at the standard 5G speed until the stated amount is reached.

BNESIM does not provide a Malta eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capabilities. Travelers who need a phone number or live‑message service will only find data‑only plans with BNESIM. They can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection, though some destinations may block or limit access to specific apps or VoIP services. Travelers should verify that the messaging apps they rely on function in Malta before purchasing a plan.

BNESIM provides 15 single‑coverage plans that serve only Malta and 43 multi‑coverage plans that include Malta among other destinations. The available plans span a price range from $2.84 to $432.94, offer data caps between 1 GB and 100 GB, and have validity periods that go from no expiry to 30 days.
