MobileSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for Mongolia. All plans that list “Unlimited” in the name actually allow 3GB of high‑speed data per day; once that amount is reached the speed drops to 1000kbps. Because the data cap is enforced, the plans are better described as fixed‑data plans.

If you need more data without the restricted daily allowance, MobileSIM offers larger fixed‑data plans such as the 20GB for 30 days or the 10GB for 30 days. These plans provide a set amount of data at full speed for the entire validity period, which may be more cost‑effective for heavier users and avoid the speed throttling that occurs on the “Unlimited”‑titled packages.

MobileSIM does not provide eSIM plans for Mongolia that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIM plans in that country. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and text communication.
