Wiiline eSIM Data Plans for Mongolia

Wiiline does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Mongolia. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually grant 2GB per day at 4G/5G speeds; once the daily limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 1 Mbps. These are fixed data plans rather than unlimited ones.

If a traveler needs a larger data allowance, Wiiline offers fixed plans such as 30GB for 30 days or 20GB for 30 days, both with no throttling during the validity period. Global options are also available, for example an 80GB plan valid for 365 days or a 40GB plan valid for 180 days, which provide high‑speed data across Mongolia and many other countries.

Wiiline does not provide an eSIM for Mongolia that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans from this provider. If a phone number or text messaging is required, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Mongolia before buying a plan.

Wiiline offers 15 single‑country plans and 26 multi‑country plans for Mongolia. Prices for these plans run from $5.00 to $155.00, while data caps range from 490 MB to 80 GB and validity periods span 1 to 365 days. Some plans feature daily data caps, others provide a fixed data amount, and a handful allow tethering with reduced speed options.
