Avelis eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Mongolia

Avelis eSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Mongolia. All of its plans for the country have a hard data cap, such as the Standard 20GB/30 days, Standard 10GB/30 days, Standard 5GB/30 days, Standard 3GB/15 days, and the Daily 3GB/Day (FUP) plan.

The Daily 3GB/Day (FUP) plan offers a fair‑use policy: after the 3 GB per day allowance is used, data continues at a reduced speed rather than stopping. Travelers who need more data than the fixed caps may consider this option, but for most users a fixed data plan with a clear allowance can be more cost‑effective unless they are extremely heavy data consumers.

Avelis eSIM does not provide a Mongolian eSIM plan with a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available. Travelers can use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, though it is advisable to verify app availability in Mongolia before purchasing.

Avelis provides nine single‑country data plans for Mongolia and no multi‑country options. All of the available plans come as fixed data bundles – each plan offers a set amount of data that stays the same for the validity period. The price range spans from $4.99 to $75.99, while the data caps cover portions from 1 GB up to 20 GB, giving travelers a spectrum of options from small day‑use packages to larger data packages for longer stays.
