Yatelo eSIM Data Plans for Mongolia

Yatelo does not provide any eSIM plan that offers truly unlimited high‑speed data for Mongolia. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually give a fixed amount of high‑speed data—3GB—and once that amount is used the speed is reduced to 1000kbps.

For travelers who need more data, Yatelo offers fixed‑data plans such as 20GB for 30 days at $13.02 USD or 10GB for 30 days at $8.64 USD. These higher‑cap plans can be more economical for users with larger data needs.

Yatelo does not provide a phone number or SMS capability for its eSIM plans in Mongolia; the provider offers only data‑only plans for that destination. Travelers who require a local number for voice calls or text messages will need to look elsewhere for a suitable plan.

However, the data connection on the eSIM can be used with popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage to make voice calls and send messages. Some destinations may restrict or block access to specific apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to check that the applications you rely on work in Mongolia before purchasing an eSIM.

Yatelo offers 12 single‑country plans and 6 multi‑country plans that cover Mongolia. These plans come in a price range of roughly $5.26 to $54.02, with data caps ranging from 1 GB to 20 GB and validity periods of 3 to 30 days. Most plans provide a fixed amount of data; some allow daily data caps. Tethering is permitted on all plans, though higher‑speed data may be throttled to 1000 kbps when shared.
