Lumbus eSIM Data Plans for North Macedonia

Lumbus does not offer a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for North Macedonia. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name provide a fixed allowance of 3 GB each day, after which the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps, effectively throttling usage rather than keeping it unlimited. The provider notes confirm that data usage beyond the daily amount is available at a speed of 1 Mbps, which is still a limitation of speed.

Instead, Lumbus offers fixed data plans for travelers. For instance, a 20 GB plan valid for 30 days is priced at $37.99, and a larger 50 GB plan for 180 days costs $127.99. These options are often more cost‑effective unless a user requires a very large data allowance and accepts the reduced speed that applies after the daily limit is met.

Lumbus does not provide any eSIM plan for North Macedonia that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All current plans sold by Lumbus for that destination are data‑only. Travelers who need to communicate while abroad can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in North Macedonia before purchasing a plan.

Lumbus offers 11 single‑country data plans and 33 multi‑country data plans that include North Macedonia. The plans vary in price from about $3.99 to $140.99 and in data cap from 1 GB up to 50 GB, with validity periods ranging from one day to 365 days. Some plans have fixed data amounts while others provide daily data caps, and certain options include both tethering and reduced‑speed allowances.
