MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Peru

MoodSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Peru. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name all contain a daily high‑speed data allowance; once that amount is reached the connection is throttled to 512 Kbps, 1 Mbps, or 384 Kbps depending on the plan. Consequently, the speed is reduced after the daily cap, so the data is not unlimited.

Travelers who need a fixed amount of high‑speed data can instead choose MoodSIM’s fixed data plans for Peru, such as the 50 GB plan with 30‑day validity or the 20 GB plan with 30‑day validity. These fixed plans offer a straightforward data allocation without the daily throttling that applies to the so‑called “Unlimited” options.

MoodSIM does not provide an eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability for Peru. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, it is advisable to verify that these apps are accessible in Peru before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain services.

There are 17 single‑country data plans for Peru and 47 multi‑country plans that include Peru. These plans cover a range of data amounts from 100 MB up to 50 GB and are priced between roughly $0.49 and $111.49. Validity can stretch from a single day to a full year. Some of the bundles offer a daily data cap option, allowing users to purchase a fixed amount of data each day instead of a single, total data allowance for the entire period.
