EsimForTravels eSIM Data Plans for Portugal

EsimForTravels does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Portugal.
The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their names are actually fixed daily data allowances of 3GB with throttling after a set amount of usage – after the daily cap is reached, speed drops to the reduced speed listed in the features.

Instead, EsimForTravels offers several large‑data fixed plans that can suit most travelers. For example, a 20GB plan with a 7‑day validity costs $17.99 USD, while a 50GB plan with 30 days validity is available for $39.37 USD. These plans give a straightforward high‑speed data allowance that does not stall once a daily limit is reached.

EsimForTravels does not provide a Portugal eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All of its plans for Portugal are data‑only. Travelers who need to make voice calls or send text messages may use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may restrict or block specific apps or VoIP services. Before purchasing, users should confirm that the communication apps they rely on are accessible while in Portugal.

EsimForTravels offers 27 single‑country data plans for Portugal, with no multi‑country options available. The plans range in price from $4.49 to $56.25 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB, valid for 1 to 30 days. Among these, four plans feature a daily data cap, limiting usage each day, while the remaining 23 are fixed‑data plans that allow the full data allowance to be used over the entire validity period. All plans support tethering, have a speed limit of 5000 kbps, and offer a reduced speed of 1000 kbps when the data cap is reached.
