Jetpac does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data service for Portugal. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually allow 3 GB per day; after this limit is reached, the connection speed drops to 1024 kbps. If a traveler needs higher data consumption without speed throttling, Jetpac offers fixed‑data plans instead. For example, the Portugal 40 GB plan is valid for 30 days and costs $29.99 USD, while the Portugal 30 GB plan is valid for 30 days and costs $24.99 USD. These high‑data plans can be more economical for heavy users who want consistent speed during their stay.

Jetpac does not offer eSIM plans for Portugal that include a local phone number or SMS service. All of its eSIMs for the country are data‑only, meaning travelers do not receive a traditional phone number.

Because the plans provide only internet connectivity, users can still communicate by employing internet‑based messaging and calling services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage.
