Wiiline does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Rwanda. All plans labelled “Unlimited” actually have a capped data allowance—one plan offers 1 GB, another offers 5 GB, and some provide 1 GB per day for a set number of days. When that limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 500 kbps, so the data remains limited in practice.

Instead Wiiline offers fixed‑data plans that may better suit heavier users. For example, a 30 GB plan valid for 30 days costs $83.21 USD and a 20 GB plan for the same validity costs $58.81 USD. These plans give a larger high‑speed data allowance and may be more cost‑effective for travellers who need substantial data usage.

Wiiline does not sell an eSIM for Rwanda that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase a data‑only plan for the country.

Although the plan lacks voice and SMS services, popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage will work over the data connection, allowing calls and messaging without a traditional phone number.

Wiiline offers 12 single‑country data plans for Rwanda, with no multi‑country options available. Among these, two plans feature a daily data cap while the remaining ten provide a fixed data amount that is valid for the entire validity period. Prices range from about $5.03 to $83.21, and the data caps cover from 490 MB up to 30 GB. The plans vary in length, offering validity periods between 1 and 30 days, and some allow tethering while others throttle speed after reaching a 500 Mbps limit.
