Mi eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Spain

Mi eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Spain. All of its plans that carry the word “Unlimited” actually have a hard cap of 1 GB per day (or 1 GB total for a one‑day plan) and the speed drops to 512 kbps once that limit is reached.

Travelers who need more data can choose fixed‑data plans such as the 100 GB eSIM Data for 30 days in Spain, V2 or the 50 GB eSIM Data for 30 days in Spain, V2. These plans offer large data allowances with no speed throttling until the data is exhausted.

Mi eSIM does not offer a Spain eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only plans are available. Travelers will not receive regular voice calls or SMS messages with these plans.

To stay connected, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which operate over the data connection. However, some destinations restrict or block certain apps and services, so it is advisable to confirm that the preferred messaging and calling apps can be accessed in Spain before purchasing a Mi eSIM.

Mi eSIM offers 23 single‑country plans and 47 multi‑country plans that include Spain. The plans are structured around two main data‑cap types: fixed data cap options, which provide a set amount of data for the whole validity period, and daily data‑cap options, which limit the amount of data usable each day. Across all plans the prices run from $1.66 to $198.56, the data caps span from 1 GB up to 100 GB, and the validity periods vary between 1 and 180 days.
