Sim Local eSIM Data Plans for Spain

Sim Local does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Spain. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually give a fixed amount of high‑speed data: 5 GB per day or 10 GB per day for periods ranging from 7 to 90 days. Once the allotted data is used, the speed is reduced, so the plan is not unlimited.

If a traveler needs a larger data allowance, they can choose a fixed data plan with a higher total amount, such as the Spain Unlimited Data for 7 Days (5 GB/day) or the Spain Unlimited Pro Data for 7 Days (10 GB/day). Other providers offer larger bundles, for example Orange Holiday Europe 200 GB for 31 days, which also come with a hard cap but provide a larger data pool.

Sim Local currently offers only data‑only eSIM plans in Spain, without a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can still communicate over the data connection using VoIP messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage, but some destinations may block or restrict these services. It is advisable to check that the apps you rely on are accessible in Spain before making a purchase.

Sim Local offers 9 single‑country plans and 24 multi‑country plans for Spain.
Their plans come in both fixed data cap and daily data cap types.
Prices vary from about $4 to $198, with data allocations ranging between 1 GB and 200 GB and validity periods spanning 3 to 90 days.
