eSIMCard does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for Switzerland. All plans that carry the label “Unlimited” in the catalogue include a fixed data allowance—such as 1GB total, 1GB per day, or 2GB per day. After the allotted data is used, the connection is throttled to a reduced speed, for example 500kbps, 512kbps, or 2000kbps, so the plans are not unlimited in the sense of continuous high‑speed data.

Travelers can instead choose from fixed‑data plans that offer large amounts of data without throttling. For instance, the 50GB Data & Unlimited Minutes plan is valid for 30 days, and the 35GB Data & Unlimited Minutes plan is also 30 days. These plans provide high‑speed data for the entire validity period, and selecting a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless a user requires a very large amount of data beyond the caps offered by the “Unlimited” labeled plans.
