BlueSky eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Taiwan. All plans that include “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a daily data cap of 3 GB; once that limit is reached, the speed is throttled to 1 000 kbps.

If a fixed data plan is preferable, BlueSky offers several high‑capacity options, such as a 20 GB eSIM valid for 30 days or a 50 GB plan valid for 90 days. These plans provide a larger data allowance without the daily cap and no speed reduction.

BlueSky eSIM does not provide an eSIM plan for Taiwan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability.
Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for Taiwan from BlueSky. Travelers can still use messaging and voice services through popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which operate over the data connection without a phone number or SMS.
