CloudOn eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

CloudOn eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data plan for Taiwan.
The plans that carry “Unlimited” in the name give 3 GB per day and after that limit is reached the data speed is reduced to 1000 kbps.

If a user needs a higher data allowance, CloudOn offers fixed‑data plans instead. For example, the Taiwan 20 GB plan for 30 days costs $21.99 USD, and the Taiwan 50 GB plan for 30 days costs $45.99 USD. A larger 100 GB plan for 180 days is available for $86.99 USD. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective if a traveler consumes more data than the daily 3 GB allotment.

CloudOn eSIM offers only data‑only plans for Taiwan, so a Taiwanese eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability is not available. Travelers can still use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection, but should confirm that these services work in Taiwan before purchasing a CloudOn plan.

CloudOn eSIM offers 11 single‑country data plans and 21 multi‑country data plans for travelers in Taiwan. The plans are priced between about $4 and $127 USD, with data amounts ranging from 500 MB to 100 GB. Some plans provide a fixed data cap that remains available for the entire validity period, while others offer a daily data allowance that resets each day. Certain packages also include reduced speed after a specified limit is reached.
