FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

FootySIMs does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Taiwan. All of its Taiwan‑targeted plans have a hard data cap of 1 GB per day. When that limit is reached, the speed drops to 512 kbps, as noted in the plan features. Because the plans are capped at 1 GB/day, they are not considered unlimited high‑speed bundles.

For travelers who want a larger quantity of data, FootySIMs offers fixed data plans with larger daily allowances, such as the 1 GB per day plan valid for 7 days or 30 days. These plans allow the full daily data allowance and do not throttle usage after the cap is reached, making them more cost‑effective for most users who consume moderate amounts of data.

FootySIMs does not offer an eSIM plan for Taiwan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for Taiwan through this provider. Travelers who need voice or text functions can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should confirm that these services are accessible in Taiwan before purchasing.

FootySIMs offers three single‑country data plans for Taiwan, with no multi‑country options available. Two of the plans feature a daily data cap that refreshes each day, while the remaining plan provides a fixed data allowance that does not reset. Prices range from roughly $3.30 to $107.68, all of which include a 1 GB data cap and validity periods spanning 7 to 30 days.
