Hungry eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

Hungry eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Taiwan. The plans that carry the label “Unlimited” actually have a daily data cap—ranging from 500 MB to 10 GB—and the speed is throttled after the cap is reached, so the data is not unlimited.

Travelers who need a large amount of high‑speed data can choose one of Hungry eSIM’s fixed data plans. For example, a 20 GB plan valid for 30 days costs $31.20, and a 20 GB plan valid for 90 days costs $133.00. These fixed data plans offer a clear data allowance and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they require very heavy data usage.

Hungry eSIM does not provide Taiwan eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS functionality. The provider offers only data‑only plans for the destination. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but they should confirm that the specific apps they rely on are accessible in Taiwan before purchasing.

Hungry eSIM currently offers 34 multi‑country data plans that include coverage in Taiwan. These plans vary in price from about $3.33 to $179.36 USD and in data allowance from 500 MB up to 20 GB, with validity ranging from one day to a full year. Because there are no single‑country packages specific to Taiwan, the options available are only the multi‑country plans that bundle Taiwan with other destinations.
