Mi eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

Mi eSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Taiwan. All of the plans listed for Taiwan have a hard data cap, and after that cap the speed is throttled to 384 kbps or 512 kbps depending on the plan.

Travelers who need more data can choose from the fixed‑data plans that Mi eSIM offers for Taiwan, such as the 50 GB plan valid for 3 or 5 days, or the 100 GB plan valid for 30 days. These plans give a large amount of high‑speed data before the speed is reduced.

Mi eSIM does not provide a Taiwan eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only plans for travelers in Taiwan. Users who need voice or text communication can rely on internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these apps work in Taiwan before purchasing a plan.

Mi eSIM offers 47 single‑country plans and 47 multi‑country plans for Taiwan. The available options range in price from about $1.08 to $197.35 and provide data allowances from 1 GB up to 100 GB, with validity periods spanning 1 to 180 days. Plans are grouped into two types: those with a fixed data cap and those with a daily data cap, and several of the packages additionally allow tethering and offer reduced speeds at 384 kbit/s or 512 kbit/s.
