Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Taiwan. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” label actually give 3 GB per day and, once that amount is used, the speed drops to 384 kbps. Therefore, the data is capped and not unlimited.

If you need a larger data allowance, Roamic offers fixed data plans for Taiwan such as 50 GB for 30 days, 20 GB for 30 days, 10 GB for 30 days, and 5 GB for 21 days. These plans provide a set amount of high‑speed data that must be used within the specified validity period and can be more cost‑effective for most travelers.

Roamic does not offer any eSIM plan for Taiwan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers need to rely on a data‑only eSIM and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage to make calls and send messages. These apps typically work over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict specific services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you need are accessible in Taiwan before purchasing.

Roamic currently offers 14 single‑country data plans for use in Taiwan and offers no multi‑country plans for this country. Among the 14 options the provider supplies 7 plans with a daily data cap—where the data allowance refreshes each day—and 7 plans with a fixed data cap, which provide a set amount of data for the entire validity period. Overall, Roamic’s Taiwan plans range in price from $3.00 to $58.00 and data limits from 1 GB to 50 GB.
