WonderConnect eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

WonderConnect does not currently offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for Taiwan. The provider’s Taiwan‑specific plans provide fixed data allowances, namely 50GB or 20GB for a 30‑day validity. A 50GB plan for Taiwan is priced at $81.00 USD, while a 20GB plan for Taiwan costs $41.60 USD. These fixed data options may be more economical for most travellers, unless a user requires very heavy data usage that would otherwise be served by an unlimited plan.

WonderConnect does not offer a Taiwan eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider supplies only data‑only plans for Taiwan travelers, which can be used to access the internet on mobile networks.

For voice and messaging, travelers can rely on internet‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. These apps work over the data connection provided by the eSIM and allow calls and messages without requiring a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS.

WonderConnect offers six single‑country data plans and eleven multi‑country plans that include Taiwan. The single‑country offerings use a fixed data amount ranging from 1 GB to 10 GB, while the multi‑country plans provide a broader range, from 1 GB up to 50 GB of data that can be used across several countries, including Taiwan. Each plan is valid for 7 to 30 days, and many of them come with tethering support allowing the data to be shared with other devices.
