Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

Zwitchy does not offer a plan that provides truly unlimited high‑speed data for Taiwan. All routes listed under Zwitchy for Taiwan feature a hard data cap, such as 1GB per day for the so‑called “Unlimited” titles, after which the speed is throttled to 1000kbps.

Instead, Zwitchy provides fixed data plans that allow a large amount of high‑speed data, for example a 50GB 30‑day plan or a 30GB 30‑day plan for Taiwan. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for most travelers who do not need unlimited data usage.

Zwitchy does not provide Taiwan eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only eSIMs are available. Travelers who need to place calls or send texts can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Taiwan before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

Zwitchy offers a range of data plans that include Taiwan coverage. For single‑country options there are 16 plans available, while the multi‑country catalogue has 29 plans that include Taiwan as part of their network. The price range for these plans spans from $1.00 up to $139.50, and the data caps vary from 100 MB to 50 GB depending on the chosen validity period. Plans are available in both fixed data amount models, where the user receives a set amount of data for the entire validity, and daily data cap models, where the data allowance is reset each day. Tethering is allowed on applicable plans, and a reduced speed limit of 1 Mbps may apply after the data cap is reached.
