Saily eSIM Data Plans for Uruguay

Saily does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Uruguay. The plans that carry the “UNLIMITED” label actually have a 30GB data cap; once that amount is reached the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps for the 30‑day version and to 1 kbps for the 90‑day version. Therefore the name is misleading and the data allowance is not unlimited.

Travelers who need a large amount of high‑speed data can choose from Saily’s fixed data plans that are available for Uruguay. Examples include the Global 30GB 90 days plan, the Global 20GB 365 days plan, and the Global 15GB 90 days plan. These plans offer substantial data allowances and may be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Saily does not offer a plan for Uruguay that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need messaging or voice calls can rely on the data connection of the data‑only eSIM to use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. Some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible from Uruguay before purchasing a data‑only plan.

Saily offers four single‑country data plans that cover only Uruguay and fifteen plans that include Uruguay as part of a broader multi‑country network. The available options vary in price from roughly $7.99 to $159.99 and provide data caps ranging from 1 GB to 30 GB, with validity periods that can stretch from 7 up to 365 days.
