abesteSIM eSIM Data Plans for Vatican City

abesteSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Vatican City. The plans that use “Unlimited” in their name actually give a fixed allowance of 1 GB of high‑speed data per day, after which the speed is throttled to 5000 kbps. Travelers who need a larger, unthrottled data amount can choose from abesteSIM’s fixed plans, such as 500 GB for 90 days, 200 GB or 100 GB for 30 days, or a 60 GB plan for 60 days. These fixed data plans are available for use in Vatican City and may offer a more cost‑effective solution for higher data consumption.

abesteSIM does not offer an eSIM for Vatican City that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need a contact number will need to rely on the data-only eSIM and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for calls and messaging. Those apps typically work over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict specific services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible in Vatican City before purchasing the eSIM.

abesteSIM provides a selection of single‑country data plans that cover Vatican City. The provider lists 46 single‑country plans in total, and while the dataset does not break down how many of those specifically include Vatican City, the plans are available for the country. There are no multi‑country plans that target Vatican City alone. The plans vary in price from about $0.42 to $143.83 and in data allowance from 200 MB up to 500 GB. Some plans offer a fixed data amount, while others provide a daily data cap, giving travelers flexibility depending on their usage patterns.
