Horizon eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Austria

Horizon eSIM does not provide an unlimited‑data eSIM for Austria. All of its Austria‑specific plans have a fixed data allowance.

Travelers wishing to stay in Austria can choose one of Horizon eSIM’s fixed data plans. For example, the Austria 50GB plan is valid for 180 days, and the Europe 100GB plan is also valid for 180 days and covers Austria as part of its broader European coverage. These plans give a set data amount that must be used within the stated validity period and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they need data beyond the specified limits.

Horizon eSIM does not provide an Austria eSIM that includes a local phone number or the ability to send SMS; only data‑only eSIMs are available for the country.

Travelers can use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but they should verify that these apps are accessible in Austria before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain services.

Horizon eSIM offers ten single‑country plans and nineteen multi‑country plans that include Austria, giving travelers a choice of local or regional coverage. The available data caps range from 1 GB up to 100 GB, while prices span from about $0.31 to $308.64, so there is a wide variety of options to suit short stays or extended trips.
