MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Austria

MoodSIM does not provide true unlimited data plans for Austria. All plans labeled “Unlimited” include a fixed data cap—such as 1 GB, 2 GB, up to 10 GB per day—and afterward the speed is throttled (for example to 512 kbps or 1 Mbps).

Travelers who need a larger amount of high‑speed data can choose a fixed‑data plan instead. Examples include the Austria 20 GB 30‑day plan and the Austria 50 GB 180‑day plan, both of which offer substantial data allowances without the speed reductions that apply after the caps of the “Unlimited” plans are reached.

MoodSIM does not offer any Austria eSIM plans that include a local phone number or the capability to send or receive SMS. All of MoodSIM’s Austria eSIM plans are data‑only. Travelers can use internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage to make calls and send messages over the data connection, but they will not receive or use a traditional SMS function or a local number.
