MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Austria

MoodSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Austria. All plans listed under the “Unlimited” name include a hard daily data allowance, after which the network speed is reduced to a specified lower rate.

Instead, MoodSIM offers fixed data plans that allow higher data volumes. For example, the Austria 50 GB 180 Days plan supplies 50 GB of high‑speed data for 180 days at a cost of $26.49, and the Austria Unlimited (10 GB/day, then 512 Kbps) 1 Day plan delivers 10 GB of data for one day at $5.49. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for travelers who need substantial data usage.

MoodSIM does not provide an Austria eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The company offers only data‑only eSIMs for Austria, so travelers cannot receive calls or text messages with their local number through MoodSIM. They can use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in Austria before purchasing the plan.

MoodSIM offers 16 single‑country data plans that can be bought for Austria, and 62 multi‑country plans that include Austria as part of a broader regional bundle.
The manufacturer’s catalog lists a price range from $2.49 up to $121.99 USD, with data caps spanning from 300 MB to 100 GB. Most plans employ a fixed‑data amount that remains available for the plan’s validity period (up to 365 days), although a few include daily caps that trigger a speed reduction once the set quota is reached. This gives customers the flexibility to choose a compact low‑cost option or a generous high‑cap package depending on their anticipated usage.
