mysim24 eSIM Data Plans for Austria

No, mysim24 does not provide a true unlimited‑data eSIM for Austria. All of the plans listed for Austria have explicit data caps, ranging from 1 GB per day on standard plans to 2 GB per day on “Unlimited Plus” plans. After the daily allowance is used, the speed is throttled to a reduced rate (512 kbps for the regular plans and up to 2 Mbps for the Unlimited Plus plans). Fixed data plans are available, such as the Austria Unlimited 10 days plan with 1 GB/day of high‑speed data or the Austria Unlimited Plus 10 days plan with 2 GB/day of high‑speed data, which may be more cost‑effective for most travelers.

mysim24 does not offer an Austria eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only plans available from this provider for Austria are data‑only plans, so travelers cannot receive or make traditional voice calls or text messages with a local number.

Travelers who need to communicate while in Austria can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps relied on are accessible in Austria before purchasing a plan.

mysim24 offers 33 single‑country plans and 139 multi‑country plans that include Austria. The available plans span a price range from $3.94 to $206.47 and data caps from 1 GB to 100 GB. Some plans provide a fixed data amount for the entire validity period, while others use a daily data cap that resets each day.
