abesteSIM eSIM Data Plans for Brunei

abesteSIM does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Brunei. All of its Brunei plans have a finite data cap, the largest of which is 50 GB spread over a set number of days. For example, the eSIM Brunei – 5 Days / Total 50 GB gives 50 GB of data for 5 days, and once the data is used the speed drops to 128 kbps. Another option, the eSIM Brunei – 1 Day / Unlimited, offers 1 GB per day with a reduced speed of 5000 kbps after the daily limit. These fixed‑data plans can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, while users who need continual high‑speed data would need to purchase additional credit or a different plan type.

abesteSIM does not offer any Brunei eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for travellers visiting Brunei.

Because a phone number or SMS is not supplied, users can still place and receive calls or send messages through popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to certain apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm beforehand that the applications you rely on are usable in Brunei before purchasing an abesteSIM data‑only plan.

abesteSIM offers 85 single‑country plans for Brunei, with no multi‑country options available. The plans span a price range from $1.48 to $226.69 and a data cap range from 500 MB up to 50 GB. Users can choose between daily data cap plans—48 in total—or fixed data cap plans—37 in total—depending on their usage needs. The plans also allow tethering and may include reduced speed options of 128 kbps or 5000 kbps.
