RedSim eSIM Data Plans for Brunei

RedSim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Brunei. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually allow 3 GB of high‑speed data per day and then throttle the speed to 1 Mbps for the remainder of each day.

Travelers who need a larger, fixed data allowance can choose from RedSim’s fixed data plans for Brunei, such as the 20 GB 30 days plan priced at $66.56 USD, the 10 GB 30 days plan at $28.70 USD, or the 5 GB 30 days plan at $17.10 USD. These plans provide a set amount of high‑speed data that must be used within the 30‑day validity period.

RedSim does not provide a Brunei eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase a data‑only eSIM from RedSim for Brunei. The data plan can be used in conjunction with VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which generally allow voice and text communication over the data connection. However, some destinations may restrict or block specific VoIP apps, so users should confirm that the applications they rely on are accessible in Brunei before purchasing the eSIM.

RedSim offers 14 single‑country plans for Brunei and 5 multi‑country plans that include Brunei. The available plans vary in price from roughly four dollars to a little over a hundred dollars and in data cap from one GB up to twenty GB. Some plans use a fixed data amount for the entire validity period, while others enforce a daily data cap within the validity window.
