Kolet eSIM Data Plans for China

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for China.
The plans titled “China UNLIMITED” give 5GB of data each day at full speed, after which the connection is throttled to 1024 kbps, so the high‑speed data is capped.

Travelers who need more data can choose fixed‑data plans. For example, a 20 GB plan for 30 days costs $38.99, a 10 GB plan for 30 days costs $25.49, and a 30‑day plan with 5 GB per day costs $73.80. These options provide larger data allowances and avoid the speed reduction that occurs on the “Unlimited” plans.

Kolet does not provide China eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Customers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs for use in China. However, many travelers rely on VoIP and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages. Some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the applications they depend on are accessible in China before purchasing.

Kolet offers 13 single‑country data plans that cover China and 10 multi‑country plans that include China. The plans range in price from $3.99 to $73.80 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB, with validity periods from one day up to a year. Some plans use a daily data cap, limiting the amount of data that can be used each day, while others use a fixed data cap that allows the full amount to be used over the entire validity period. A few plans also apply a reduced speed limit of 1000 kbps.
