Nomad does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Costa Rica. The plans that use the word “unlimited” in their names actually provide 2 GB a day and, once that amount is reached, the speed is reduced. Travelers who need more data can choose from fixed‑data plans; for example, Nomad offers a 20 GB plan for 30 days or a 20 GB plan for 45 days, both of which include tethering and full 5G coverage within Costa Rica.

Nomad does not provide a Costa Rica eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All of its available plans for Costa Rica are data‑only, offering high‑speed internet access without inbound or outbound voice or text services.
