AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Germany

AirPlans does not provide a plan that offers truly unlimited high‑speed data in Germany.
All Germany‑specific plans have a hard data cap, followed by a reduced speed after the limit is reached; for example, the Germany Unlimited 5‑Day plan gives 3 GB per day (15 GB total) and the speed drops to 1000 kbps once the daily quota is used. If you need a large amount of data, fixed‑data plans such as the Germany Unlimited 10‑Day plan (30 GB total, 3 GB/day with 1000 kbps after the quota) or the Europe Lite Premium Unlimited 5‑Day plan (30 GB total with 2050 kbps when the quota is exhausted) are suitable alternatives. These plans allow you to use high‑speed data within the specified validity period, after which the speed is throttled.

AirPlans does not provide a Germany eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIM plans for Germany.

Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on are accessible in Germany before purchasing an AirPlans eSIM.

AirPlans offers 26 single‑country data plans for Germany, each available at a price between US$1.34 and US$289.94 and covering data caps ranging from 500 MB to 100 GB. The single‑country plans are divided into fixed‑data packages—where a set amount of data is provided for a set period—and daily‑cap packages, which allow a daily usage limit that can be aggregated over the validity period. In addition, the database lists 94 multi‑country plans that include Germany within broader coverage, offering similar price and data ranges but allowing connectivity in several destinations at once.
