EscapeSIM eSIM Data Plans for Germany

EscapeSIM does not provide a plan that delivers truly unlimited high‑speed data for Germany. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a daily high‑speed allowance of 1 GB; after that limit is reached the speed is reduced to 10 Mbps until the next day. This is a fixed data plan with a fair‑usage policy, not a truly unlimited plan.

Instead, EscapeSIM sells fixed‑data plans that give larger data allowances without daily limits, such as the Germany 60GB plan, valid for 60 days, and the EU36 Saver 50GB and 30 GB plans, both valid for 30 days. These plans provide high‑speed data for the full allowance, after which the plan simply expires.

EscapeSIM does not provide a Germany eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for Germany. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and text, but some destinations may block or restrict specific services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in Germany before purchasing.

EscapeSIM provides a range of data plans that include both single‑country and multi‑country options covering Germany. Ten single‑country plans are available, giving travelers data specifically for Germany, while an additional 38 multi‑country plans include Germany as part of broader coverage. Prices for these plans range from $1.49 to $181.79, with data caps spanning from 1 GB to 60 GB. Some of the plans offer a fixed data amount for the whole validity period, whereas others provide a daily data cap that resets each day, allowing users to choose between a total data allotment and a daily usage limit.
