FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for Germany

FootySIMs does not provide a true unlimited‑data eSIM for Germany. All Germany‑available plans list a data cap of 1GB per day, meaning each day the user receives 1GB of high‑speed data before the speed drops. After the daily allowance is used, the speed is reduced to 512 kbps, which is still a throttled high‑speed connection. The plans are valid for either 7 days or 30 days, and they allow tethering. If an unlimited experience is needed, one would have to choose a fixed data plan that covers a larger total amount of data, such as the 1GB/day 7‑or‑30‑day options, rather than a plan advertised as “Unlimited”.

FootySIMs does not provide a Germany eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Their Germany plans are data‑only, meaning travelers can use the internet but cannot receive or send voice calls or SMS directly from the eSIM. However, travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. It is advisable to confirm that these apps work in Germany before purchasing a plan.

FootySIMs provides three single‑country data plans for Germany, with no multi‑country options available. Within those three plans, two are structured as daily data caps while one offers a fixed data amount. The price range for the Germany plans spans from $1.72 to $44.04, and each plan delivers a 1 GB data cap. Tethering is permitted on all plans, while data speeds are throttled to 512 kbps once the cap is reached.
