MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Germany

MoodSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Germany. All of its plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in the name have a daily data cap and a reduced speed once that cap is reached. For example, the Germany Unlimited (10 GB/day, then 512 Kbps) 1 Day plan gives 10 GB of high‑speed data per day before throttling to 512 Kbps, and the Germany Unlimited (5 GB/day, then 512 Kbps) 1 Day plan offers 5 GB per day with the same throttling.

Travelers who need a larger, fixed amount of data can choose from MoodSIM’s fixed data plans, such as Germany 50 GB 30 Days or Germany 50 GB 180 Days. These plans provide a set data allowance that must be used within the specified validity period. Fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, while heavy data consumers may prefer a plan with a higher daily cap and a lower throttled speed after the cap.

MoodSIM does not provide an eSIM plan for Germany that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers using MoodSIM in Germany will only have access to data-only options. They can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, but these services may be blocked or restricted in Germany, so it is advisable to check their availability before purchasing.

MoodSIM provides 17 single‑country plans for Germany, in addition to 62 multi‑country plans that include Germany in their coverage. Prices for all plans vary from roughly $2.49 to $121.99, while data caps range from 300 MB up to 100 GB, depending on the specific offer and validity period. Single‑country plans generally give a fixed amount of data for a set number of days, whereas multi‑country plans bundle coverage across several destinations and also offer a fixed data allocation; some of the plans allow tethering or reduced speeds as part of their features.
