NextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Germany. All plans labeled “Unlimited” in the nextSIM catalog actually contain a fixed data cap of either 1 GB or 2 GB, after which the speed is reduced to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps. Travelers who need more data can choose from the fixed‑data plans such as the eSIM Germany Unlimited 1‑day Standard plan for 1 GB or the eSIM Germany Unlimited 7‑days Standard plan for 1 GB per day. For very high‑volume usage nextSIM also offers the Pro Germany 200 GB plans that last 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 days, which give a large data allowance without a speed reduction.

nextSIM does not provide an eSIM for Germany that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIM plans for Germany, so travelers cannot receive a local phone number or send or receive SMS messages through the SIM itself.
