SparkRoam eSIM Data Plans for Germany

SparkRoam offers unlimited data eSIM plans that cover Germany. The plans are labeled “Europe (33) · Unlimited” and provide unlimited data for validity periods ranging from 3 days to 90 days. Prices start at $6.22 USD for a 3‑day plan and go up to $178.25 USD for a 90‑day plan. All plans are 5G, allow tethering, and have a maximum speed of 10000 kbps, though speeds may be throttled after heavy usage under a Fair Usage Policy.

If a traveler wants to avoid potential speed reductions, they should contact SparkRoam to confirm the Fair Usage Policy details and the typical amount of data that can be used at normal speed. The unlimited plans are available for Germany and the surrounding 32 countries in the Europe (33) coverage area.

SparkRoam does not provide an eSIM plan for Germany that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The company’s offerings for Germany are limited to data‑only eSIMs, meaning you can connect to the internet but do not receive a local phone number for voice calls or text messaging.

Users traveling to Germany who need to communicate can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. These services can be used for voice and messaging without a phone number. However, some destinations place restrictions on certain VoIP apps, so travelers should confirm that the services they depend on are accessible in Germany before purchasing a SparkRoam eSIM.

SparkRoam provides a range of options for travelers visiting Germany, with eight single‑country plans focused solely on Germany and thirty‑four multi‑country plans that include Germany among other destinations. The plans vary in price from about $1.34 up to $178.25, while the data limits span from a modest 1 GB package to unlimited data choices. Some offerings are fixed‑amount plans that grant a set quantity of data to use over the validity period, whereas other options limit the amount of data available per day, allowing users to manage usage for daily needs.
