Astaroam eSIM Data Plans for Italy

Astaroam does not offer a true unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Italy. The plans that include “Unlimited” in their name actually have a daily data cap—such as 1 GB per day or 5 GB per day—and after reaching the limit the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps. Travelers who need a large amount of data can choose one of Astaroam’s fixed data plans, such as the Italy 50 GB 30 days plan or the 20 GB 30 days plan, each of which provides a set amount of high‑speed data for the specified validity period.

Astaroam does not provide an Italy eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The available plans are data‑only, allowing customers to use the internet for VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. Travelers should check that the VoIP services they rely on work in Italy, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

Astaroam offers 13 single‑country plans and 31 multi‑country plans for Italy. The plans range in price from about $0.93 to $24.81 and provide between 1 GB and 50 GB of data, with validity periods from 1 to 30 days. Some plans use a fixed data amount while others cap data on a daily basis; the catalog includes 12 daily‑cap plans and 32 fixed‑cap plans. Tethering is allowed on many of the plans, and a reduced speed option of 1000 kbps is available on certain entries.
