Keep On Roaming eSIM Data Plans for Italy

Keep On Roaming does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Italy. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give 1 GB per day or 1 GB total, after which the speed is reduced, so they are not unlimited in the sense of unlimited high‑speed data.

Instead, Keep On Roaming offers fixed data plans with large allowances for Italy, such as 100 GB for 30 days, 50 GB for 30 days, and 20 GB for 30 days. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Keep On Roaming does not provide any Italy eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are offered for Italy.

Travelers can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict access to these services. It is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible in Italy before purchasing a Keep On Roaming plan.

Keep On Roaming offers 15 single‑country plans that cover Italy alone and 26 multi‑country plans that include Italy as part of a broader regional package, for a combined total of 41 plans that can be used in Italy.

These plans span a price range from roughly $4 to $148 USD and a data cap range from 1 GB to 100 GB, with validity periods that can last anywhere from 1 to 30 days. The single‑country bundle offers a fixed data allowance tailored to the Italian market, while the multi‑country bundle generally provides a daily data cap that applies across all covered countries, with tethering allowed on some choices.
